Humphreys ernie@mgtcapital.com Mr.
Humphreys is a principal and founding member of Management Capital. From
1970 to 1986, Mr. Humphreys acted principally as legal advisor to a number
of entrepreneurs, including the representation of Mr. Manchester and
Narragansett Capital Corporation (“Narragansett”). Mr. Humphreys left the
practice of law to co-found The Lincoln Group, Inc. (“Lincoln”) to
consolidate the fragmented coated paper and coated cloth market.
Mr. Humphreys was responsible for the Lincoln acquisition program. He structured, negotiated and acquired a number of companies and was responsible for all matters relating to a recapitalization of Lincoln. Lincoln grew from $50 million in sales to $200 million in sales. Investments in the Lincoln Group and Lincoln Group Holdings, a subsequent investment vehicle, produced a combined IRR of 379%. Mr. Humphreys has served on the Board of Directors of many companies. Mr. Humphreys is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. |
