WHITE SYSTEMS CELEBRATES 60TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW PRODUCT INNOVATIONS

(January 15, 2007): White Systems celebrates their 60th anniversary this year and will be displaying a number of recent innovations in their carousel systems at the ProMat show (booth #1547) in Chicago. On display will be the latest horizontal carousel available in both bottom and top drive configurations, a vertical lift module – the fastest in the industry - with live RFID and biometrics interface demonstrations, and the newest features available on a vertical carousel system. White Systems is offering a free on-site Technology Assessment for any type of carousel – a White Systems carousel or others - to ensure the highest possible ROI.
 
Horizontal Carousel
White Systems pioneered the horizontal carousel concept and is the only supplier that offers both bottom and top drive horizontal carousels. Vertical Carousel
White has recently developed a new concept of a pick-to-light system for vertical carousels. Instead of fixed light positions, White offers the use of “running” lights. The advantage of this concept is that a change in product size within the carousel does not require changes in light location – ensuring the highest efficiency and productivity for picking applications. White’s vertical carousel solutions offer the highest reliability rating (up to 99.7%). Vertical Lift Module
White will be exhibiting the newly enhanced vertical lift module – the Power Column 2. This system offers a tilt tray design for improved ergonomics and a software-controlled light pointer for increased accuracy and efficiency. The exhibit will include demonstrations of barcode readers, RFID tags and biometric scanners. White offers the fastest vertical system with speeds 60% faster than competitive models and provides custom carousel solutions for specific, special applications.
