Jeffrey T. Hendrickson  Mr. Hendrickson is a results-oriented, executive
with a career record of success involving major corporate and privately
held transportation, logistics and highly competitive consumer service
businesses. Mr. Hendrickson is COO of Velocity Express Corporation
(NASDAQ: VEXP), the nation’s largest, time critical supply chain
management service provider. Velocity’s fleet of over 6,000 Independent
Contractor drivers deliver over 300,000 parcels daily from a network of
over 140 locations, nationwide (http://www.velocityexpress.com/). Previously, Mr. Hendrickson was CEO and President of Sport & Health Company, one of the top ten largest health and athletic club operators in the United States During his career of more than thirty years, he has distinguished himself as a senior executive and COO with a unique capacity for repairing and re-imaging troubled entities, positioning them for a return to profitability and growth. Significant enterprise correction assignments were held with organizations such as Brinks Inc., National Car Rental System, Inc. and Chase Manhattan Corporation. At Brinks, as SVP for both Global Air Courier and ATM Services, Jeff produced significant profit and market share improvements with critical, network information flow (dashboards) and intelligent operating systems. Early in his career, The Hertz Corporation assigned him to various senior management positions within the U.S., Canada and the U.K. While at Hertz, Mr. Hendrickson began to develop his competence with turning-around troubled entities and achieved distinguished, record high profitability in challenging operating circumstances.
